I was first introduced to TomTod Ideas at an education career networking event as a student at Walsh University. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working as a Camp What If counselor, Logistics Juggler, and Adventure Curator intern and can attest that TomTod’s approach to youth development and community change is truly one-of-a-kind.

I am convinced collaboration is the key to TomTod’s amazing work with middle schoolers.

The organization’s team-based culture and ever-growing network of community leaders throughout Northeast Ohio connected me with endless resources to support students and opportunities to enhance my professional skills.

However, I was most blown away by how this collaborative mindset translated to the relationships and knowledge we built with students.
Block Quote: TomTod is a team of truly caring adults that empowers middle schoolers to be vital assets in both their personal development and communities.
Through dynamic programming that is equal parts academic, social-emotional, and imaginative, TomTod is a team of truly caring adults that empowers middle schoolers to be vital assets in both their personal development and communities.

Whether working behind the scenes or directly with students, it is this commitment to co-learning and putting the needs of students and communities first that sets TomTod apart from other youth or community development programs.

My time at TomTod Ideas has equipped me with a lifelong dedication to community partnership and celebrating the awesomeness of middle schoolers!
